First time i saw slayer was one of the last show Corpus Christi had in the late 80's.it was a venue called The Ritz. It was a theater turned into a church then back to a venue. so it had a cathedral feel to it more like house of satan. due to the besties boys carnage of the Bay Front Auditorium and hotels rooms.Corpus didnt get any good show for a while So all the metal show were in San Antonio.
which i think Corpus was The Metal town untill city crack down. friday aug 17 slayer return to San Antonio on the Mayhem Festival At The AT&T Center/Grounds. Home Of The San Antonio Spurs!

The Line Up Was -
Whitechapel,Job For A Cowboy,Trivium,All That Remains,Cannibal Corpse,Bullet For My Valentine,Killswitch Engage,Slayer,Marilyn Manson.
I must amid i only went there to see slayer. Over all it was a loud,yelling and metal of a good time. by the way slayer palyed a new song,sounds like there going back to the haunting the chapel days. scary!
This week Blondie and Pat Benatar @ Austin Music Hall.those ladies are still hot!!!!
